PLI, The Nation's Largest Keycard Manufacturer

1988, Asheville, North Carolina, a retiree began telemarketing plastic key cards from his basement office, while, in Wilmington, Delaware, two young electronic technicians spent their evenings at a kitchen table repairing innovative locks that used those new plastic key cards.

Today, the two companies that were launched in such unassuming circumstances, PLASTICARD PRODUCTS, Intl and LOCKTECH, Intl, have merged. The new company, PLASTICARD-LOCKTECH INTERNATIONAL, d/b/a PLI, is the largest key card manufacturer in the United States.

The reach of PLI now includes over 15,000 hotels under contract throughout the world and major corporate contracts such as STARWOOD Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Interncontinental Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Choice Hotels, and many more.
