What motivates you in your role?
There are a few things: first and foremost is family. My wife and baby boy are the most important reasons for me wanting to excel and be the best I can be. The second is my team: we have a colorful, talented group of individuals here and they keep me on my toes. Being a pillar of example every day for them keeps me motivated.
What is your favorite thing about working here?
The culture. Everyone (from ops, prepress, manufacturing to service bureau, and shipping) is super friendly and inviting. I love the welcoming environment each department displays, and the camaraderie we have when we are working together to see the jobs through. (The morning ops calls we have are hilarious sometimes!)
What values of the company do you like most?
Integrity is one of the strongest values that I resonate with here. Being ethical, being honest, and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Even when it may seem uncomfortable, that is what can distinguish a good person from a great person, and a good leader from a great one.
Which aspects of your job make you the proudest?
The idea of being responsible for some of the most widely known brands in the world. Customer care is one of the most important touch points here at PLI with respect to the workflow. People rely on us (both internal and external) for information. We coordinate, direct, inform and provide guidance to others on the work that flows through here. Theres a lot of pride in that!
What is your favorite benefit/perk of working at PLI?
The medical coverage: PLI is generous with their programs here, and it has allowed my family to be well covered and well taken care of. A close second is that mini store in the breakroom – best prices in town!
What advice do you have for someone considering working or applying at PLI?
PLI is a unique machine with a cascade of intricate moving parts and processes. There is a lot of responsibility and attention to detail required from every department here, and every single individual has an important role to play in keeping the machine moving. These folks are the best of the best, and we all pride ourselves in our line of work in maintaining that reputation. Though individually we may have different roles, when we all work together, we become something greater than the sum of its parts. If you are looking for a place where you could become something more, then PLI is that place.

What motivates you in your role?
What motivates me in my role is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the team and delivering results. I'm also motivated by continuous learning and growth—when I'm challenged, I stay engaged and energized.
What is your favorite thing about working here?
My favorite thing about working here is being hands-on with the production process. I really enjoy the technical side of making gift cards—seeing the raw materials turn into a finished product and knowing I had a part in that. There's also a sense of pride in the quality and precision we aim for, and it's great to be part of a team that values doing things right.
What values of the company do you like most?
Giving me a chance to grow within the company. Getting to know what it takes to deliver high-quality, secure card solutions while also taking steps toward environmentally responsible production really stands out. The leadership is amazing and continues to grow.
Which aspects of your job make you the proudest?
What makes me the proudest in my job as a technician is knowing that the work I do directly contributes to producing high-quality gift cards that people use and enjoy every day. Whether it’s troubleshooting a machine, maintaining production quality, or solving technical issues quickly, I take pride in keeping things running smoothly. I know that even the smallest details can make a big difference, and being part of a team that delivers reliable, well-crafted products is really rewarding.
What is your favorite benefit/perk if working at PLI?
My fellow employees are amazing and Harding working! Willingness to leave it all on the line and more. It’s a family. Always thriving from each other.
What advice do you have for someone considering working or applying at PLI?
It’s a place where you can see the operations of makes a secure gift cards and a great place to grow and learn.

I’m proud of the growth I’ve experienced here. Taking on new challenges and expanding my skills has been incredibly rewarding.

Paid time off is a great perk. It helps me maintain a good work-life balance and recharge when needed.
