NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV – December 20, 2023 – ‘Tis the season for giving at PLI’s LV1 and LV2 North Las Vegas facility locations this holiday season. With holiday initiatives including their Annual Christmas Luncheon to their Ugly Sweater Christmas Contest, 12 Days of Giving and One Team One Dream Sponsorship of six families, PLI is partaking in the spirited season of giving to its employees. 

Holiday Luncheon and Ugly Sweater Christmas Contest 

The new LV2 location hosted their Inaugural Christmas Luncheon on December 14th, and LV1 hosted their Annual Christmas Luncheon on December 15th for a time of gathering to enjoy a warm meal, celebrate and show appreciation for its employees commitment all year along, including the acknowledgement of tenured employees for their loyalty to PLI. It was a joyous occasion to commemorate the year’s accomplishments and challenges that had been overcome and honor the employees’ contributions to the organization. PLI is exceptionally proud to call each of the tenured employees a dedicated member of the PLI family. Each tenured employee received a special gift. 

The spreading of festive cheer continued during the luncheon event with a fun Ugly Sweater Christmas contest where the winners received gift cards as prizes in various denominations.  

12 Days of Giving 

From December 7th through the 22nd, Human Resources conducts a random drawing from the employee list to select one lucky employee during the first shift and second shift to be the winner of a specific prize for that day. The lucky winners get to unwrap the joy of a special surprise that awaits them. The prize pool of great gifts ranges from electronics, such as JBL headphones and a karaoke machine, to home goods and kitchenware, such as a vacuum cleaner and pots & pans set and more. It’s their way of saying thank you for all the employees’ hard work and dedication throughout the year.  

One Team One Dream Holiday Sponsorship 

At PLI, the team believes in building a stronger community by supporting their fellow employees and the efforts of key non-profit organizations. The One Team One Dream initiative is one hundred percent powered by its employees with its mission to give back. It is more than just a workplace – they are building a supportive family giving back together.  

With that value in mind during this holiday season of giving, their One Team One Dream Charity Program will sponsor six families: three from the first shift and three from the second shift. Any employee can nominate another employee by filling out a nomination form and sharing why they should be selected by December 20th. Each family selected will receive a $200 gift card to purchase toys and gifts from their children’s wish list. Through One Team One Dream, employees find meaningful ways to make a positive impact and enrich lives by supporting others.
